Yanks pay tribute to Lou "Iron Horse" Gehrig by playing his famous speech and using the current roster to recite lines. They also wore #4 patches and laid a wreath in Memorial Park. ALS is a devastating disease and it affects all classes and professions and should never be ignored.

"Lou Gehrig has been a hero of mine for a long time. I have read so much about him, I am in awe of his skills at baseball and handling of his situation. He was an RBI machine! In 1927, he drove in 175 runs after batting with the bases empty 60 times."
