What functionality does this application offer?
You can add your gamertag,
show which games you have played, compare your achievements with
friends, see the Facebook profile of a user by their gamertag, send messages
to people's Xbox's and add people to you Xbox Live friends list, show off your achievements,
see random games, read
and write reviews of games, see how elite with the
leaderboard, see who is online now,
and broadcast what you are playing.
It says that my gamertag doesn't
exist
- Make sure that you correctly typed in your gamertag! Spell it correctly! Check on your console.
- Send me a message containing the FULL error message that your receive
How do I show my online Xbox Live status
When you add your gamertag, check the Enable Presence Tracker box. This will show you on the Online Now page when you are on Xbox Live.
To have your currently playing game as your Facebook status, go to the Online Now page and click on the link in the information at the top to allow status updates.
To stop your Facebook status being changed, visit this page (you're here) and hover your mouse over settings at the top (the Facebook bar) and click Xbox 360 Live Gamercard Settings. Go to additional permissions and deselect status updates. You will still appear on the Online Now page.
If you do not show up, it could be that you need to allow access to your Xbox Live status at Xbox.com Privacy Settings.
My played games don't show up
Your Xbox privacy settings are set too high. You can change this from the Xbox 360
Dashboard by going to account settings, or through Xbox.com Privacy Settings and allowing everyone to view
your played games and, if you want, online status.
I have unlocked an Xbox Live achievement, but the score
on my profile has not updated / It takes a long time for updates to occur
You need to
click update.
How can I find a Facebook user by their gamertag?
Go to friends,
and enter the gamertag in the box labelled "Try finding friends by gamertag"
When trying to force an update, an error occurs
Go to Gamercard,
click change, and re-enter your Xbox Live gamertag.
