Thanks!!  Okay, I'll try to make a long story short about why we picked the date!  First off, I graduate college on May 22 and I wanted it to be after I graduate so I wouldn't get too stressed. Secondly, all the dates in June were booked up.  The 5th is my maid of honor's birthday..I know she wouldn't have minded, but I did.   June 12 is one of my FH's groomsman's bday.  Last summer we had a friend to get married on June 13 so I figured not celebrating two birthdays would be a bust, ya know.  We have a wedding to go to on June 19. Thirdly, I have a hugeeee family (my mom has 10 brothers and sisters and my dad has 5) and everyone ALWAYS comes to my mom's house on July 4th. It made more sense since everyone usually comes in and it would give everyone a long weekend anyway.  I really tried to condense it!

We've been engaged for a little over a month.  My colors are a tiffany blue...and brace yourself....light orange.  (I'll post a link of what I'm talking about....it looks better than it sounds!)  I've got the church and reception hall booked, my bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses picked out, MY DRESS ordered and paid for, and we're meeting with a photographer next week.  I'm not real sure about when everything is supposed to be done...I'm the first grandchild out of 19 to get married, so this is new to everyone.  My family usually just does family and close friends with wedding, but we don't have that option. We have too many people we want involved!     It's turning into a bigger wedding than we thought.

Wow, I just wrote a book.  Haha...this is so fun!

That's a heck of a lot of stuff going on in June! I understand the July part now. : )
When you said orange I was like "hmm.. I could sort of see it." That picture makes it look really really amazing though! That's a fun and different scheme!
If you go to www.theknot.com and register there, not like for gifts, but your profile then they have a checklist that's pretty helpful. Granted, if you live in a bigger or smaller town it might not be totally applicable to everything. Otherwise, you can just search for "wedding checklists" and get some pretty good ones!

Thanks!  I'm so excited!  What are your colors? What all have you done??  My mom wants me to register before Christmas so that she can get us lots of stuff!

Yeah, I think we're doing STDs.  I've looked at a lot of them online.  Are you?  I'm not sure when to send them out.  Another question (sorry, I have lots of them!).  Are you getting bridals done?  How soon before the wedding are you supposed to get those done?

EXACTLY the same as me LOL!  We got engaged on June 12, 2007 and we're tying the Knot on July 3rd as well.  It's finally getting close!  These last 8 and a half months are gonna fly I know it!
