Anybody else want to throw up when "We are the Champions" started to play? I did, work, what a cheesy flipping song to play...makes me hate the Yankees even more

and oddly enough, I really could care LESS but for some reason the whole organization that is the Yankees just rubs me wrong...don't ask why, not really sure...just does.

Its probably because the Yankees get hated on for "buying their team" but to be honest EVERY team in the MLB does...(with exception to the Twins, they are the only team who have ALL their players come up through their system)....but the Yankees are the only one who get flack for it, yes even the CUBS buy their team...they just cant pull it out when its comes down to it.

And im sorry that the Yankees can get the good players and other teams cannot (except this has not been totally true in recent years, have you seen the yankees bullpen in the past years?! YIKES) Anyone who is a true baseball fan knows this, and if they bought their team they would win a heck of a lot more than once in 9 years!
It is truly kinda irritating to me when people say things just because they hear other people talk about them so they assume that its true.

Oh and I think there was no BETTER song to play, because well, they are the Champions!

Sorry just an opinion of someone who has grown up around baseball their whole lives! And i have had this pent up for like a week since some girl in one of my class tried to act like she knew what she was talking about when it came to baseball.

Dude, I am from NY and I used to *hate* the Yankees, just because!

I had no real reason for it... except for the fact that I'm a "root for the underdog" type of girl and the Yanks never quite seemed to be the underdog.  I even played with the idea of become a BoSox fan for a little bit.

But now, I don't know what changed in me.. all my negative feelings for them are gone and I can't even believe that I resisted liking them for so long. It's like all the sudden, I have all this pride that just showed up about being from NY.. (I've always like the Giants in football b/c that's how I grew up)... and it just kinda seemed wrong to not like the Yankees anymore.  Haha... not saying that you'll ever change but it seriously happened to me! I am such a weirdo!

I could care less about baseball...heck, sports in general. They bore me.  But I'm just glad that it's fianlly over because that means I get my BONES back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And House too! YAY!
