I travel a lot and I am so tired of shoving Jack and Jill's huge crates into the back of Nemo (my car). Expandable crates would be so sweet.

Pets are safer traveling in crates. Both Midwest and Precision offer well-made wire crates for lots of ventilation. Fold down for storage. Great for house-training puppies, too!
Here's a good place to find portable dog crates, it's called Mighty Pets. These crates are collapsable and have a good selection at good prices. I had one of these for my border collie and he loved it. It's perfect for transportation, it's excellent to provide them with some shade at the beach, and they're light and constructed well. Oh, and they're easy to clean too.
