Here's another idea for a day-to-evening dress. This one is in an extra-soft jersey fabric that will look great in all four seasons, literally. I can see this with opaque tights and slouchy ankle boots.
This would be VERY cute with opaque tights -- even high boots. I love Velvet dresses - they are so comfy, and yet tailored enough for work or special occasions.
