This is my current camera. I was looking for an affordable (~$250) camera with good features that I could carry around in my pocket. I know a lot of people with Canons, which are comparable, but I'm much happier with the picture quality of my Lumix. Also, the camera is covered in a rubbery material (metal underneath), which feels really nice.

If what you want is to take snapshots of friends and family and occasionally blow something up to an 11x14, then this is the best camera for your money. It will give you great shots. It comes in a very small and easy to carry package. PLus, it's under the $200 you asked for. There are other NIkons out there that you might like as well. Normally I'm a Canon person but I can't deny that in the point and shoot category, Nikon gives you the most bang for the buck.
