College of Fine Arts and Fine Arts Library Premiere Collection of Artifacts - <p>AUSTIN, Texas—The Fine Arts Library and the College of Fine Arts at The University of Texas at Austin will host the public opening of a recently assembled collection of art and artifacts at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, in the Fine Arts Library in the Doty Fine Arts Building.</p><p>The event is free and open to the public.<div class="og_rss_groups"><ul class="links"><li class="og_links first last"><a href="/about/news">News Releases</a></li> </ul></div>

Screening and Discussion of ALTAR: Cruzando Fronteras, Building Bridges - <p>The Center for Mexican American Studies (CMAS), in partnership with the Center for Women's and Gender Studies, the Center for Women's and Gender Studies, the Gender and Sexuality Center, and the Nettie Lee Benson Latin American Collection, University of Texas Libraries, will host a screening and discussion of the film, "<em>ALTAR.</em> <em>Cruzando Fronteras, Building Bridges</em>." A documentary film directed by Paola Zaccaria and Daniele Basilio (2009).&nbsp; Professor Paola Zaccaria from the University of Bari (Italy) will be attending the event.<div class="og_rss_groups"><ul class="links"><li class="og_links first last"><a href="/about/news">News Releases</a></li> </ul></div>
