Hello! In April this year my friends and I stayed in a place called Than Binh III, as part of a Sinh Cafe package we took to Hoi An which included airfare from Ho Cho Minh to Danang and transfers...

any tips for anyone?

if u can, go to Hoi An. im there at the moment. its a really nice city.
and i can definitely recommend Vinh Hung Resort.
the only bad thing is that its not close to Ho Chi Minh City.
