Welly, welly well. We've been away but we're back in a big way. For those of you who haven't been in the loop, Heroic Robot took a hiatus over January, reworking some of our custom-;built equipment and coming up with some funky new stuff. We worked six parties in December and it was time to recuperate, realign our gear, and prepare ourselves for battle.
On Friday we played out at Juicy Lucy, a party in the basement at Bossa Nova. This was the first show for our new software environment, and we also tried a remote control system that allows us to run the show from the dance floor. This gives us a much better view of the visuals, which makes it easier for us to lock up a tight show.
Next week we're playing a special show for Sammy D (;the Perlon guy); and Marc Schneider, get more info here. Since they're rocking an all-;vinyl set, we'll be rocking an ultra-;ravey hardcore aesthetic. Be there or be a parallelogram.
