Frequently Asked Questions
  1. I can’t record!
    It is possible that your computer does not have JAVA enabled. Java is a great program that helps your browser interact with much of the content on the web. Click here to download the newest version free.
  2. I can’t hear my recording!
    Besides obvious things like making sure your volume is turned up ;) you might want to look and see if your microphone is working. Most computers have built in microphones, but it is possible that you will need to plug one in (there are many great computer mics available everywhere from Best Buy to Future Shop). Try asking your computer help tab about microphones.
  3. It is taking a long time to load!!!
    We are using a JavaSonic recorder to enable you to combine audio recordings with your friends to make a play. On some computers, this might take a little longer to load up, and it might occasionally time-out. Keep trying it works and it’s worth it (if you can act).
  4. How do I know if I won?
    Winners will be sent a message on Facebook with all of the information necessary to redeem their prize.
  5. I have finished recording parts but I can’t make my play live!
    Please quickly double check that each part has actually been recorded. If you scroll through your play each line will have an active play button if there is a recorded part.
  6. My friends aren’t recording their parts!
    We automatically send your friends notifications to tell them they have been cast in your play. Notifications are often overlooked so we suggest you use the share button in the application controls to send them a friendly reminder. Alternatively you could cast someone new.
  7. My question has not been answered!
