Making a Donation

Making a donation is easy. Once you have added the application to your facebook account you should be able to click "Donate" on any campaign page and simply enter how much you wish to donate. You will then be transferred to PayPal who will handle the transfer.

Please note, that once a donation is made it cannot be refunded.

Accepting Donations

• Sign Up To PayPal

  Payments are currently handled by PayPal, this means you must have a PayPal account set up in order to receive donations using Sponsor-Me.

  If you don't already have a PayPal account, it is free and easy to set one up. Click here to visit the PayPal site and sign up.

• Upgrade to Premier Account to Accept Credit/Debit Cards

  Anyone with a PayPal account can accept donations from other PayPal accounts or bank transfers for free, but to accept credit and debit card donations you must upgrade your account to be a Premier Account for free. This takes only 5 minutes and will allow you to easily collect many more donations.

  If you have not yet set up a PayPal account, be sure to select a Premier Account when signing up if you would like to accept credit and debit card payments.

  If you already have an account, you can upgrade your account to a Premier Account for free by clicking "Upgrade Account" on the registration page.

• Possible Processing Delays

  Payments are normally processed instantly, but there may ocassionally be a delay while passing through PayPal. In some situations, you may need to check your PayPal account to allow a payment through, so don't forget to check this regularly while your campaign is running.

• PayPal Fees

  Sponsor-Me do not currently charge any fees for the use of this service, but there may be standard fees associated with using certain PayPal features.

  PayPal typically charge around 2.9% + USD$0.30 per transaction for processing credit and debit card donations, and there could also be a fee for withdrawing funds. Click here to view a list of PayPal fees.

  It is recommended that users investigate throughly the charges associated with Paypal, as these may change and are outside the control of Sponsor-Me.

• Donation Tracking

  In order to keep track of donation totals for each campaign, Sponsor-Me track every payment which is made through this service.
