We need to raise USD 500 or PHP 20,000 for a 2nd missions trip to Talaud Island and on to Sulawesi in January or March 2009.
We have been invited to teach more about house churches in Talaud Island by a brother in Christ. I also hope to meet with and encourage a group of house church planters who are so eager to penetrate communities with the Gospel of peace and love.

You will notice a change in itinerary. A brother who lives in Talaud Island invited us to visit his island, which is just 2-4 hours pump boat ride from Davao City. He is offering to pick us up in Davao City for free. From Talaud, we will just take a 16 hour ferry boat ride to Manado. We hope to accomplish this mission in late January or early March 2009.
By the way, for this campaign to become publicly listed, we need at least 10 supporters. That means that even just a 1 dollar contribution will be a fantastic help towards this missions trip!

Left over from the 1st missions trip: PHP 2,860 and IDR 38.000. That's worth around USD 68.87. At the end of the 1st trip, I also turned over USD 100 to help with the travel costs of our Indonesian house church planters who will go on long-distance missions.
All excess contributions will go towards the travel costs of long-distance missionaries in Sulawesi.
