Frequently Asked Questions
1. When I click on the "submit" button, nothing happens?
This is a known issue with Mac computers using Safari v1.x web browsers. There are a few workarounds:
1) Hold down the control key (ctrl key) and then click on the "submit" button
2) Upgrade to a newer version of Safari on the Mac
3) Use Firefox on the Mac instead
2. I don't want to be listed in the player directory. What do I do?
Click on the "Settings" link, and edit your preferences accordingly.
3. I don't understand how to play this game.
Please start by checking out the Rules section. That should get you going.
4. Do I have to be online at the same time as my opponent in order to play?
No, you do not. After a challenge has been set and accepted by the opponent, each player can play at his or her own pace and time. However, you might find it quite exciting to play simultaneously against your opponent, as both of you will see each other's progress as you are working on solving your own code. Talk about pressure!!
5. My friends don't want to play with me. Who can I play with?
No problem at all! Join a public challenge or host one yourself. Or browse the player directory and just find someone to challenge.
