Great topic-- A friend of mine told me today she believes the fanfare in Seattle is equivalent to what she has witnessed at European soccer games.

I spent last summer in Rome, and the locals filled every inch of every ramshackle bar to watch the World Cup. Seattleites are equally excited and we're just getting started!
