Band Bio: When asked to describe their music, The Alco Beat simply states,"We angel, we twang, we rock". Add to that hooks you can hang your hat on, and that about sums it up. Blending elements of power-pop, rock, and alt-country, they creat a sound that is familiar yet unmistakably their own. The band came together in the winter of 2008. They played their first show soon after and have been impressing bartenders, crickets, and anyone else who will listen ever since.
