Band Bio: I guess you could say that I am an urban girl with a southern heart. I was born in MS but have lived in MD for most of my life. I really have to thank my parents for my musical interests/abilities. Both sing (they have a Hindi parody CD!) and my Dad plays the tablas. I used to sing in Hindi too, sometimes even at big parties for my parents' friends, until I got too shy. As I got a little older, I started learning piano and usually stuck to writing instrumental pieces in my early teens, then broke out writing songs with lyrics towards the end of high school.
