Band Bio: JourneySong is a Christian ensemble--think gifted vocalists and a sizzling band. Its energetic music spans genres traditional and contemporary gospel with influences of jazz, Latin, classical and soul nouveau. The founder, Dr. Willetta Greene-Johnson, Grammy-award winning composer and arranger, is also a professor of physics at Loyola University. A classically trained songwriter, she has arranged for Mary Mary, Marvin Sapps, Yolanda Adams and many others. Donnie McClurkin once called her ’one of the most prolific up and coming song-writers and arrangers’.
