Band Bio: I was born in Los Angeles, CA, February 7, 1948 and raised in the afluent neighborhood of Beverly Hills (pre 90210 - they didn't have zip codes back then). In fact, I remember my phone numbers from childhood and they didn't have area codes!!!! I attended Beverly Hills High School along with some people you all might have heard of - Richard Dreyfuss, Bonnie Franklin and my childhood friend - Academy award winning producer Michael Lloyd. As a matter of fact, Michael and I had our first chart success with the surf group The New Dimensions in 1963. The Best of The New Dimensions was compiled and released in 1996 - many, many, many years after the surf wax hardened on our boards. I worked on the Sunset Strip during the turbulent 60's with my groups SOUND OF THE SEVENTH SON and THE EAST SIDE KIDS. We held a residency at THE TRIP, STRATFORD ON SUNSET (now The House Of Blues) BRAVE NEW WORLD, BIDO LITOS, CIROS, and of course the Holy Grail of clubs.....THE WHISKEY. In late 1966 i moved to Denver Colorado with the remains of THE WEST COAST POP ART EXPERIMENTAL BAND and formed the popular SUPERBAND. As early 1968 dawned, i moved back to LA and ensconced myself firmly in Laurel Canyon. It was there next door to my neighbor Danny Hutton, that the seeds were planted and grew into what became a true American Band.......THREE DOG NIGHT. I have been blessed to have worked on records and stage with some of the most exciting people in the industry.
