Band Bio: Presenting to you Rowland Sutherland's Creative Force, featuring Orphy Robinson, and their powerful and vibrant repertoire. It completely reflects the band members experiences as creative jazz musicians in the UK and through various territories in various parts of the world over the years. Such regions as the Caribbean, Brazil and Africa and collaborations with world renowned artists. Compositions which are both challenging and uplifting with a stimulating rhythmic impetus, as well as explorative and evocative. Led by the outstanding flautist Rowland Sutherland, the band features vibes virtuoso Orphy Robinson, winner of the British Jazz Awards' Best newcomer and Best Miscellaneous instrument in the BBC Radio 2 Jazz Awards.
