Band Bio: Catya Maré is a multiple award winning violinist / composer / music producer from Denmark who is now living in Los Angeles, CA. She has performed as a classical violinist since her early childhood, held the position of an alternating concertmaster with Aaarhus Symfoni Orkester (DK) and has done numerous performances at concert halls and major museums, such as National Galerie Berlin and Kunsthaus Zürich. Catya Maré started composing / producing her own music (orchestral / ambient / electronica / pop) in 2005. She was nominated for the Hollywood Music Award in November 2008 and won the Billboard World Songwriting Contest in February 2009.
