Band Bio: Born in 1981, the product of two Army Seargents, he was thrusted into the life of an army brat. Being born in Hawaii, living in Texas, Germany, North Carolina, and finally settling in New Orleans, Louisiana against his will, gave this young man a bit of culture shock. Trying to adjust to the different climates, and tryin to fit in, he struggled in all aspects of life except school. In 1995, his biological mother and stepfather died in a house fire, and this left him and his younger brother scarred for life. As they say, a pheonix rises from the ashes, the will of this young man pushed him through life and even though he has hit some walls, he has knocked so many down and never lost his stride. Eventually something great would happen for him. Naturally bright, and exceptionally talented in most areas of academics, he found passion in words, and numbers. He started doing poetry in 1996, as a way to vent frustrations, and to get the demons out of his head. Little did he know, he would gain fans, friends, girlfriends and haters. One of those girlfriends eventually became his wife, and they have a beautiful baby girl named after his mother. Always very wide opinioned about music in general, spit loved all music from an early age, but truly got involved in the art of formulating sentences that induced head nodding in 1999. Never taking himself seriously, spit did hiphop as a hobby, rapping in highschool in the hallways, on the internet battle/message boards, and at work just doing it for fun. He finally got the connection that he knew would avoid him until the end of time, when he met his producer Blitzz in Dec. 2006. In 2008, SpitRaw was invited to do 2 shows with one of the hottests artists from Austin, Texas. At this point the sky is the limit, and Spit is currently working on a 2 mixtapes, that will possibly get him the acclaim that he deserves.   Read Less »
