For Thanksgiving and Christmas, it's what I do. The recipe i usually use is in that red & white checkered cookbook, but I found an almost exact copy from the intarwebz to put here for convenience.

After looking all over the internet for the perfect beef stew recipe, and not finding it, I finally just made up my own. And it's perfect!
