Obama arrives in Ghana

What a difference between President Barack Obama and former make believe President Jarge Dehbya Bahooooosssshhh. President Obama is true statesman and well received by world leaders everywhere. When Bush went abroad, world leaders cringed at the thought that America's biggest doofus and laughing stock of the world was going to set foot in their country. I'll bet it went like this: "Oh no. Bush wants to pay us an official state visit. He barely knows anything about diplomacy except if there's a Bar-B-Que happening at his TexAss ranch. Well, at least he'll be gone in a day or two and we won't have to be embarrased by this bafoon and bumbling Klem KadiddleHopper character."

I told my friend over two weeks ago, after Obama's travel to Europe, the next destination is Africa, after Africa it would be Australia (Asia). For his first year, this is what Obama would be doing travelling overseas. Staying away from domestic problems which affects his favorable rating. He would tell Pelosi and Reid to pass bills they wanted to pass and he'll sign it. Obama should resign as President, he should be an ambassador. This country need a President that works at least 12 hours a day not a HIGHFLYING President.

I'll bet the neo "cons" and the self-righteous on the right are reeling and "thinking all kinds of nasty thoughts" that a president of our country would be off in Africa right now...

While trapsing through Europe and Africa, the US continues to struggle. Stop with the photo ops already! You won Barry! Thankfully this miserable president will only be a 1 term mistake!

I wonder why some African countries have been making a mountain out of a molehill; The US President was right to choose Ghana as his first port of call; Ghana was the first African country to gain independence from the colonial masters. Its first President - Kwame Nkrumah - brought a lot of progress to Africa during his life time; talking of democracy, Ghana is the leading African country to abide by "the rule" - Government of the people by the people and for the people; definitely, not government by the few for the people. Ghana's democracy is second to none in Africa, in Ghana, there is peace, love and understanding among its citizens. I hereby join the world in welcoming The President of The Greatest country on earth to The First Africa Independet Country. Long live The Republic of Ghana, long live The United States of America, long live the Great African Continent. I am not a Ghanaian but l am very proud of what has been achieved in Ghana...POLITICAL MATURITY.

I a m very happy today that president obama and his family are visiting my country today. I know everybody in Ghana will welcome them with great happyniss.

Iam so honored that our President, President Obama and First Lady Michelle made time out of there busy scheudle to make history again. The people in Ghana are so privliged and honored to have President Obama visting there country, hopefully with the help of our President we have help Ghana to the fullest capacity, they are in dire need of help and are counting on us. Also I think it is ludacris for Kenya to be upset that President Obama is not visting his homeland, he cannot be everywhere at once, he has a scheudle to keep and Im sure one day he will visit his homeland of Kenya, to the Kenyan people dont be upset or offended, this man is beyond busy with all types of situations to work out, he'll be there soon to visit. i was overjoyed when i was Prez Obama Dancing to the tune of the drums at the airport, i hope his visit will lead to improvement in securty and development for both ghana and usa. The issue of AFRICOM should also be touched on and if the usa can give a better deal why not let them stay at least with a good will from usa we can get delevoped if they can give us a quarter of what the give egypt or colombia

As examples explains extra ordinaries so does a new day bring hope for the millions of Africans and particularly a young democratic Ghana.It goes out to the failed states to realize Ghana's strength in democracy has it swings with decree in it's prime and learning to respect the rule of law.Being from Ghana I know the youth of today have a strong part in our unity to survive and live in harmony despite various ethnic backgrounds,it does not take much,but the attitude to change with passion.
