More details
I don't really need to say why do I?
After what is happening in Tibet, AS WE SPEAK, and China's past record, we should use the Olympics as a way of showing our disgust at their nasty, oppressive standards.

Im a fan of sports, but all of the sports played in the Olympics are played professionally on some level somewhere in the world anyway. World records are broken with, or without the Olympics. If people like to watch swimming so much, then watch it! We don't need the Olympics. Let it die. Thats all I'm saying.

I am a huge fan of sports and the Olympics. However, I do support boycotting of the games, especially by spectators. It is the spectators that draw the advertisers, it is the spectators that make it a world stage for athletic competition. I support the athletes, especially if they protest like the American medal winners in track and field in 1968.

With or without China I'm over the Olympics. Its not ever going to be the same as it was a few years ago, its lost its magic. Maybe its because of steroids, or Bob Costas, but it really doesn't matter. What else is on?
