I bought one. VoiceOver is great on runs. The point is, you can control the shuffle without touching it. They got this one right!

I just bought one of these new iPods for my workouts. I am amazed how light and small it is. The VoiceOver feature provides a great UI navigation improvement over the previous shuffle iPods.

wasn't aware that VoiceOver in nano. now if I could just talk at my iPod (iPhone) and say, "play Led Zeppelin, Kashmir"... now that would be cool!

Maybe next generation the device will be IN the earbuds! That and a short-range bluetooth connection going thru your brain, and they could get rid of those pesky wires :-)

I used the "VoiceOver" feature when it was introduced in the iPod Nano last fall (they didn't call it that - it was added as an accessibility feature) and found it useful, e.g., while driving.

What do people think of this new VoiceOver feature? I love the simplicity of the Shuffle but always hated the lack of some UI to navigate, VoiceOver should work well. check out the Apple video on this at http://www.apple.com/ipodshuffle/voiceover.html

Soon the shuffle will be so small that its size and weight will be exceeded by the earbuds!
