How to Play PARKING WARS

Parking
Earn money by parking on your friends' streets. Click on one of your friends in the list on the right side of the page to go to their street. Then click on the PARK HERE button in any open spot.

Earning Money
The value of a parked car goes up over time. The longer a car is parked, the faster its value increases. In the first hour, a car earns $1 per minute, in the second hour it earns 2$ per minute, and so on. After 12 hours, a parked car is given a final bonus and reaches its maximum value ($5,560) and no longer increase in value.

Whenever you move one of your cars from one parking space into another you "cash it in" -- the car's current value is added to your score, and then it starts over again at $100 in the new spot.

Once you move a car into a new spot, you must wait for 15 minutes before moving it again.

Signs
Most parking spots have signs that limit which cars can legally park there. Cars parked illegally can be ticketed by the owner of the street. Sometimes you won't be able to find any legal spaces, but it's usually better to park illegally than leave a car unparked. Be aware -- occasionally, an existing sign will change into another type of sign. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, so keep in mind that no car is ever 100% safe.

Tickets
Whenever a car is parked in an illegal spot, the owner of that street can issue that car a ticket. The size of the ticket is equal to the car's current value, this amount is taken from the violator and given to the owner of the street. Ticketed cars are immediately towed and become unparked.

Because parked cars go up in value over time, choosing when to give a ticket can be tricky. The longer you wait, the more the ticket will be worth, but the greater the risk that the violator will move her car, taking the value for herself.

Leveling up
There are multiple levels in the game. Your level is determined by how much cash you have. When you reach a new level for the first time, you will get a special announcement and the title next to your name will change to something more impressive. Some level-ups are accompanied by new cars, but others are not.

Badges
Badges are special awards you can win for accomplishing certain goals within the game. Parking Wars notices when you fulfill the requirements for a badge and awards it to you automatically. You can see the names of all the badges by rolling over their slots in your collection, but the exact requirements for unlocking that badge are only shown in the collection of someone who already has it. If you can't figure out what it takes to unlock a certain badge, try asking around and see if anyone else has collected it.

New Car Lot
Once you have earned six cars, you will be invited to purchase additional cars from the New Car Lot. New cars cost money! When you buy a new car, the purchase price is removed from your current score. Please note: this deduction will cause you to drop down in score, and therefore probably cause you to drop down in rank and title. You may sell purchased cars back to the store, but for only HALF the sticker price. New cars you purchase have special powers and abilities. You can read a description of each car at the new car lot. Every new car has a different affect on how you play the game, so choose wisely!

Neighbors
When you start the game, you will be assigned up to three "neighbors" -- other people who are already playing the game but who aren't on your friends list. Neighbors are a great way to get up and running when you're just starting out. You can park on their streets and start earning cash right away.

Neighbor relationships aren't two-way: you can park on their streets but they can't necessarily park on yours (they probably have a different set of neighbors than you do). If you see someone you don't know parking on your street, they're your neighbors! You can ticket them just like you would normal players from your friends list.
