Cheers Chris - I've had other comments from the facebook Bianchi owners page to say that it could be an 86 Moreno Argentin model - must admit they do look very similar...you are right though - it's very special to me

A late 80's bianchi would then be the nuovo allore produced from ('86)'87-'89. I have to say I really love that bike and thestory behind it. You can tell it's loved by a good person..

Thanks for the link, but I don't think it is that one - this frame set was purchased before 93, and it is SLX tubing too...

I investigated some further and I think i got it
all wrong. I believe this might be your frame.
It makes more sense given the time period and
given the fact it has a veloce set on it...
