Phyical beauty is always a signficant factor during the initial stage.

Sometimes I think that is true.
Look at society;
you see an unpleasant looking, man with a pretty woman,
most people don't even bat an eyelash. It always happens on television, movies, and even real life.
You see an unpleasant looking woman with a handsome man,
most think that the man is awfully unlucky, and wonder why he would do something like that.

Heyy :s that's completely wrong ! We're all different, you can't judge a majority of people...

Wtf?! How can anyone say that? Everyone is individula.. And doesn't this society judge people by looks? Even women does it!

True everyone looks at people's physical attributes first but women make more effort even if what they see they aren't keen on. Women are more driven to make friendships/relationships than men...well i think so anyway

I thi nk you will find that men and women both look at physical attributes first. Women SAY they don't care, but deep down they probably look for it at a great % than men - if they would care to admit it! EG - check a dating site and read the womens comments - they always want someone a certain height, weight etc.....men won't dare say that in their ad's - even if they are thinking it.

yes it has been known that guys judge more on beauty and "hottness" but i kno many girls who judge on guys "hottness"
