Description: 2001 Volkswagen Passat GLS V6 4 Motion
I'm selling a "mojave" (beige/metallic) 2001 Volkswagen Passat GLS V6 4 Motion with 86,100 miles. It's a 2.8L V-6 with an automatic transmission. My mother bought this car brand new in Sept 2001 and drove it until several weeks ago. I now drive it several days a week. She took excellent care of this vehicle and I have meticulous maintenance records from day one.
Power windows, power locks, power sunroof, alloy wheels, four wheel drive, hot heat and cold A/C, etc. I have both keys (keyless entry). The interior is clean with a couple small blemishes and the exterior is excellent with one small nick over the right wheel well. See pictures below for all blemishes.
This car has a BRAND NEW dealer-installed engine (it hasless than 600 miles on it). My mother was driving the car several weeks ago when the timing belt tensioner bolt snapped and blew out the engine. This car came with a 10 years/100,000 miles powertrain warranty and VW REPLACED the engine at no charge. I have detailed records of this from the dealer. The car drives like it is brand new, the powertrain remains under warranty, and the car is inspected through 08/2010.
The car has brand new (10/15/2009) Nokian WR G2 "all-weather plus" tires and brand new wiper blades.
