Location: NYC

Comp: 70-90k + performance bonus

Description:
This Junior Fund Accountant will report to the Controller. This position requires strong accounting, analytical, communication and quantitative skills. Incumbent will work with all levels within the Firm and externally with various banking and regulatory organizations.

Responsibilities Include:
daily and monthly profit and loss accounting for investments of a multi billion dollar investment fund
Collect and compile month-end corporate pricing from 3rd party brokers
Collect and calculate various pricing for input into Wall Street Office – forwards, interest rate swaps, corporates, ventures, loans, sub-entity marks
Calculation of investor allocations and review of investor statements
Assist the Controller in preparing ad hoc reports and financial statements
Coordinate with the year end auditors (questions, data requests)

Requirements:
CPA
At least 5 years of accounting experience
Must have hedge fund experience
Excellent work ethic, intelligent, and willing to put in the hours if necessary
