Description: Hello! I am subletting one of the three 1/2 bedrooms in our newly-remodeled apartment in East Harlem, 112th/Lex. Move-in will be available Dec. 1st, but is flexible through mid-month.

The lease on the apartment ends in August '10, but it would be possible to renew. It's in a great location, only 1 1/2 blocks from the 6 train, with many stores, restaurants, and laundry nearby.

The apartment features exposed brick in the living area, brand new appliances, wood flooring, 1 1/2 bathrooms with granite flooring, as well as a pool table and dart board.

The spacious room for rent in the first photo below also features exposed brick, as well as access to a roof area which is semi-enclosed. It will rent for $850/month with a one-month security deposit, excluding utilities.

You would be joining a house with a young couple in their 20's, who have a friendly dog, as well as a new tenant who is a comedian.

This is a gorgeous apartment and a great find... I'd love to stay, but I will be relocating for a job.

when is the latest i could move in? how short term is this?

Hi Greg, we are looking to have 2 people moving in by December, but January may be possible for one of the two rooms. The lease for this apartment is up in August, but there is a possibility to renew.

OK let me know if one of them doesn't get rented, as I couldn't arrive before 01/01/10. Just keep me in mind I guess. I also can't visit first (relocating from Oregon) so trying to do everything remotely. The ad title says the rooms are $700, so are the $850 and $710 inclusive of all utilities?

The monthly rent for the rooms are $710 and $850, and utilities are not included, but are pretty reasonable. I typed the title as "$700 and $850" but only the first price is showing for some reason. I will keep you in mind if one of the rooms is still available in January, thanks for looking!
