Description: Marketing Communications Specialist, Microsoft Staffing - 20 hours / week – contract

Microsoft’s Employment Branding team is looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to help us deliver the online communications that attract top talent to the company.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing editor of JobsBlog.com, including writing original content, copy editing and driving the creative and editorial direction of the site
• Publisher of the monthly Microsoft Careers Newsletter, including writing original content, sourcing stories, and setting editorial direction
• Updating Microsoft.com/Careers, Microsoft.com/College, and Microsoft.com/MBA with new content, programming timely stories, writing employee profiles, etc.
The ideal candidate should have strong written communications skills, with experience copy writing and copy editing. You should also have some prior web-publishing experience including knowledge of HTML, photo editing, blogging / content management platforms, video sharing sites (MSN Video, Youtube, etc.) and Sharepoint. Prior experience with the Microsoft Office suite and a bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field is also preferred.

Shivaraja - the position is a writing/editing/marketing/communications role. There's no coding involved at all.
