The emphasis of the architecture this position will be responsible for will be on the middleware component. They will be responsible for creating their own designs based on the spring framework. Some of the technology that is being leveraged by this team include: AJAX, MYSQL, Ibatis, Seam, Agile, JBOSS, Tomcat, Spring Framework, Hibernate, JAVA 1.5—may move to 1.6; etc.

Minimum of 10+ years systems or application architecture with 5+ with years of experience with object-oriented design and development using the J2EE platform including JDBC, Servlets and Java/J2EE design patterns.

Object Oriented Design and Programming, J2EE applications, tier components (JDBC, Servlets, JMS, JNDI, etc.), Java/J2EE design patterns, SOAP, Web Services and stand alone Ecommerce Java applications
