Description: I have a 1992 Yamaha FZR 600 that I need to get off my hands. As much as I still want to keep the bike and to still ride, I am in the Marine Corps and I'm moving to California in Dec. I really do not want to tow the bike for 2000 miles over the rockies in the middle of winter.

I am not going to lie, It is not the cleanest or the best bike in the world....it is a 1992.
First i'm going to start with the bad and then the good.

Bad: The bike has 16000 miles but it still does run quite strong. It will need fork seals soon. That is the biggest thing. Otherwise, the low beam bulb is out but the hi-beams still work. If i have time when I get home in dec, I plan on replacing that. Also, the front fender is cracked but I do have a brand new fender that just needs to be clear coated and mounted. I bought it after I broke the one and I just never got around to putting it on with leaving for the Corps. Otherwise, the bike has normal wear and tear for a 92'. There is a small tear in the passenger seat that would be an easy patch.

Good: The bike just got a Brand New Battery. I mean BRAND NEW. I put it in on the 4th of July and I rode it for that day before I had to fly back to FL. Before I left last summer, I installed new flush mount turn signals in the front. There is still a lot of tread left on the tires. They were put on right before I got the bike and I really only rode it for a summer and I did not ride it hard. The bike was only driven for a weekend or two this year and only for a summer in 08'. It also has a leather tank cover and Yoshimura Slip-on Exhaust and it actually sounds pretty nice.

The bike is far from perfect but I just want to get rid of it because it is not doing me any good just sitting in the garage.

I also have a trickle charger, service manual, yamaha jacket (not a fancy one), and the replacement fender.

Trying to get $1500 but I am FLEXIBLE.
I also have a very good condition CKX Full-Face modular helmet (never been dropped) and a very good condition (barely worn, no scuffs or tears) Scorpion Exo Burnout Riding Jacket that I would throw in for the right price if you needed a helmet and good jacket.

I will be home in Dec so I am trying to get the word out right now and see if anybody would be interested in taking it off my hands when I got home. If you or you know anybody who might, please let me know.

I would consider 1000. But at 1000 I don't think I could throw in the Scorpion Jacket or the Helmet. Thats just too much of a loss for me. I bought the bike for $2000 and bought all the other gear additionally to that. I didn't even ride the bike that much. I would consider it tho.

i want to look at it and ride it and look at the jacket and helmet and stuff. I would buy everything for 1500. Let me know when you get back if you can do that.
