Renting:

1 bedroom in 3 bedroom apartment for $660.

Why? Our third roommate has moved out.
Price: $660
Category: Housing : For Rent - Apartments
Posted: in Boston, MA
Bedrooms: 3 BR
Description: We're looking for a fun third roommate to sign on as soon as possible with the possibility of signing the July 1st lease after that if it works out. We were ideally looking for somone for November 1st, but clearly that hasn't worked out, so we're just trying to find someone as soon as possible so our old roommate doesn't have to pay double-rent. Our apartment is in Brighton, right on the Brookline line in Cleveland Circle, which is a great neighborhood. It has hardwood floors, a dishwasher, and a balcony, and the rent is $665 a month with heat and hot water included, plus about $80 a month in utilities. We are less than a five minute walk to the B, the C, or the D lines of the T (although, let's be real, who would choose to take the B-line?!), and a few minutes away from the shops, bars, and restaurants of Cleveland Circle. We're also a ten minute walk from Washington Square (home of the Publick House and Washington Square Tavern), and a ten minute T-ride from Coolidge Corner. It's an easy commute to anywhere on the green line.

Who we are: One working professional, one BU grad student, two cats named Sharkbait and High Five. Sadly, working/schooling 9-5 has sort of turned us into old ladies on the weeknights in the sense that we're usually in bed by 10ish. We actually met on Craigslist, so we're a success story of how it really is possible to find a great roommate. Most nights after work, we're pretty mellow, sometimes watching a bit of tv together (Grey's, Private Practice, the Hills...yes, we admit to liking really bad reality tv). We'll have a few beers on weeknights, but mostly save going out for the weekend. We also like dancing, travel, good food, live music, and the Red Sox.

What we're looking for: Someone who is clean, responsible (pays bills on time), pet-friendly, and wants to be part of a fun apartment. While we're not necessarily looking for a best friend, we do want to be friendly with our third roommate, so we're hoping to find someone who will have dinner or watch a movie with us from time to time.

So, if it sounds like you might be interested, let us know.

Good luck with your housing search!
