Here at US Cellular we are looking for one or two BUSINESS FOCUSED Business Analysts. They'll work with various functional areas to define business needs, enhancements and requirements for systems and business processes. Must be a self-starter and strong analytical thinker with the ability to facilitate requirements gathering, perform financial and operational analysis, and synthesize complex concepts into simple business terms. The finished product for the analyst is usually the business requirements, not system or technical requirements.

Responsibilities
-- Provides business analysis for project delivery
-- Drives the business requirements gathering process to ensure that meaningful requirements are identified for the business solution
-- Documents business requirements in a clear, complete, and concise manner
-- Ensures that business requirements are related to business goals and priorities
-- Conducts requirements walk-throughs to obtain understanding and approval
-- Works with IS business analysts in defining requirements for application systems
-- Provides requirements traceability

And much much more depending upon experience, qualifications and interest level.


Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in business discipline and at least 5 years of business analysis experience.
(Business knowledge of the wireless industry is desirable)
* Must possess outstanding analytical, research, and qualitative abilities
* Ability to synthesize large, complex sets of information and integrate into meaningful reports, recommendations, and presentations
* Must be a critical thinker who can also execute on the details
* Excellent written, oral communication, facilitation and presentation skills required
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to probe underlying business needs
* Strong interpersonal skills are essential given that the position will have significant interaction with leadership teams
