Description: I have 1br in my 2br/1bath apartment located one block off of the River Road and one block off Marshall Ave on the St. Paul side of the Lake St. bridge available asap. Rent is now subsidized for $497.50/month with a $250 security deposit up front. Utilities are only about $40 per month as we only pay for electric heat and the gas stove which are combined on one bill.
The room is about 11x12 with closet space, hardwood flooring throughout the apartment, coin-operated laundry in basement, street parking, must be pet friendly and tolerant as I have a cat.
I'm looking for someone who is fun and out-going, clean and respectful. The apartment is a great location for if you are going to school at the U of MN, Macalaster, or St. Thomas. It is located on the 21 bus route and is a few blocks from Hwy 94. I am a recent graduate from the U of MN (2008) and am currently working towards my masters in Social Studies Education while working at a Group Home for teen girls with behavioral disabilities. My cat's name is Gidget and she is fun and cuddly and loves new people. I also have a 60 gallon fish tank in the living room. The space is fully furnished save for a dining room table, some rugs and artwork, but that can easily be remidied.
