For Sale:
2006 Scion tC, Navy, Clean, 69k, $8300 for $8,300.
Why?
I now have a family! Babies rock, but they don't fit well in small cars. I need a sedan for my family, so the tC must go. I hate to lose it because it's been a great car.

| Description: | 2006 Scion tC coupe. Sporty navy blue color, automatic transmission, 69k miles, 24-26mpg. This car is in great cosmetic and mechanical condition, with very light wear, typical of a car this age and mileage. To establish the facts right up front, this is a rebuilt salvage vehicle. It was hit from behind in early 2008, purchased from an insurance company, repaired and sold directly to me. The damage was entirely cosmetic. There was no frame or suspension damage, and it has run perfectly since then. I had never purchased a salvage care before, and I was a little nervous, but the price was right. I gave it an extensive test drive before I bought it and it handled beautifully. I couldn’t tell it had ever been touched, and I had to ask what had been repaired. All gauges and controls work perfectly. The check engine light has never come on. I have meticulously given it its routine maintenance, and thoroughly clean it on a regular basis. The upholstery is clean and free of tears or excessive wear. The paint is glossy and clear, with the typical light road-debris scratches that every car has. It has a dovetail spoiler addition on the back. This year I replaced a headlight that was accumulating condensation inside. I put new Kumho performance tires on it a few months ago (a $380 investment) and they won’t need to be changed for several years. I have all-weather floor mats in, and still also have the carpet mats. The inspection stickers are up to date and good until March of 2010. The spare and tire change kit is present and in good order. This tC has been a fantastic daily driver for me for a year and a half. I love it and hate to give it up, but my wife and I had a baby this year, and we need something bigger and more family-friendly ASAP. I cannot stress what a great car this has been, and how much life it has left in it. This model has a fantastic track record of Toyota reliability. I have the title in hand, and will draw up a bill of sale. I’m starting the car at $8300. This is based on KBB private party value, minus 20% for the salvage title—but I will entertain reasonable offers. Unfortunately I cannot take payments. If you live overseas, or want to transfer money through a third party, please do not contact me about this car, because you are a scammer. All others welcome. Please email me with questions or if you want to come check it out. If you want higher-resolution photos let me know and I’ll send you all I have.
