| Description: | A 2 year old male orange Lionhead and a 2 year old female brown lionhead. Both fixed. The current owner is allergic, unfortunately. As all rabbits, they take time to get used to a new person but after a while become as sweet as rabbits are known to be. They will only go to a good home with someone who knows how to care for rabbits, has had rabbits in the past, or has done sufficient research on rabbits and realizes the vast difference between these animals and cats or dogs. They come with a multi level house, metal, about 4 x 2 x 4 feet, and all their accessories. The male is very well litter box trained and the female, for the most part yes but she will mark her territory, so a room without carpet would be ideal. They need daily out of cage time, more than four hours at least. Ideally a room where they can wander about on their own, but they also need daily contact with a human or they will not be comfortable with you. A $25 adoption fee is required, simply to make sure you are serious about caring for the animals and realize that in the future they will incur costs, such as food and the occasional vet bill. Please include in the inquiry email your past experience with rabbits, why you do not have the rabbits any longer (and if you do still have the rabbits, what the setup will be with interaction of these rabbits), and your philosophy about the difference between cats and rabbits. Also please answer the question: If your rabbit is sneezing and/or has a loss of appetite, what may the cause be? What should you do? Thank you. |
