This position will be located on-site in Greenwich, Connecticut, with dual reporting responsibilities to the COO of Blue Sky Studios and a Senior Vice President of Human Resources based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:
You will educate, advise and coach studio employees on issues involving, but not limited to: employee relations, recruitment, training and organizational development. Furthermore, you will work closely with management to implement Human Resources initiatives that support the needs of the business unit, as well as initiatives that support company-wide activities, ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently and equitably applied and that all legal requirements are met, and make sure that a positive employee relations climate is developed, reinforced and maintained. In addition, you will be responsible for the negotiation of employee agreements and independent contractors' fees, as well as the maintenance and tracking of immigration status for visa-related issues and the administration of the employee performance review process. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Our ideal HR professional will have 5+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a creative industry, and possess excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and independent judgment skills. Knowledge of EEO/Affirmative Action laws and principles, applicant tracking and employment law are a must. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field strongly preferred.
