Description: The Guelph Society of Comic Creators is looking to recruit new members of our group. If you're interested in writing/drawing/producing your own comics, then you need to join forces with the GSCC. We are currently in the planning stages of our first annual anthology called SPOTLIGHT, and need artists to help us bring this vibrant new collection to life. The Guelph Society of Comic Creators goal, is to promote the acceptance of the comic book medium into mainstream society, specifically in Guelph and beyond, and further its acceptance as an art form. Our mission is to offer education and opportunity for artists, writers, and followers alike, both amateur and professional, in all aspects of their creative ventures and to offer guidance and leadership in the manner of the comic book industry and all of it’s related mediums, while preserving the history and traditions of the comic book medium, as well as seeking ways to continuously improve and expand beyond the traditions.
