Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a Junior level M&S Research Analyst to assist in the research and development of a catalogue of modeling and simulation efforts funded by the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Office. The candidate should have a strong research and analytical background with the ability to understand basic M&S technologies while engaging clients individually using any of a number of interview or research methodologies. The M&S Research Analyst will serve as a member of a team responsible for developing methodologies for standardizing data-collection and work processes, executing data collection events, performing analyses, and developing a catalogue and initial recommendations to the client. Additionally, the position may be provided the opportunity to develop or review business cases, support project management documentation and client briefings, and present analyses to clients.

Essential Position Functions:

• Travel and/or conduct TELECON events as part of a team in order to survey and document M&S tools supporting the JIEDDO mission.
• Writing, editing and maintaining documentation required of the JIEDDO M&S catalogue.
• Develop and maintain relationships with JIEDDO finding organizations in order to maintain the catalogue.
• Analyzes the JIEDDO M&S portfolio to determine capability gaps and redundancies.
• Assists in defining metrics to determine the efficacy of the overall JIEDDO M&S enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:

• BA or BS degree or in lieu of a degree will accept minimum of 4 years of Intelligence Analyst Military experience
• 1-5 years of relevant experience
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Proficient in research methodologies and proper data collection/archival methods.
• SECRET Security Clearance is required.
• Must be eligible to obtain a TOP SECRET if not already in possession.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel up to 20%.

• Ability to work and think with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
