Looking for a Roommate:

Room for rent - Bethany Area Condo between NW 185th and Kaiser for $500.

Why? My current roommate is moving away, so her room will be available starting 12/28/2009. I'm a female, 21 years old college student at the Oregon Institute of Technology Portland Campus (Renewable Energy Engineering Major), working as a Chemistry Lab Tech at PCC. Some of my regular hobbies includes cooking, coffee & tea, guitar, hiking, shopping, and reading. Now that school has started, I've been spending a lot more time on that than anything else. I'm looking for a female roommate between 19-29, on time with bills, non-smoker, moderately tidy with shared space, and be either a student or working professional. It would be a plus if we share similar interest, and the only thing I'll ever be bossy about is using eco-friendly/non-toxic products within the kitchen. I really enjoy living in this place and I'm sure you will too. I also understand that it's just as important to have a compatible roommate, so please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

Description: The Condo and surroundings:

The buildings are about 12 years old, renovated about 3-4 years ago and sold as condos. It is right across from PCC Rock Creek, so if you go to school or want to use the gym there, its a definite convenience. It's also close to the Tanasbourne, Bethany, and Orenco Station area, so there's definitely a good number choices whether you want to go out to eat or get groceries.

The Condo:

Parking - we have a 1 car garage downstairs, which we will be sharing. Plenty of side parking available as well.

It will be unfurnished once Kate moves out, if you have furniture or are particular about the furnishing I'd be flexible to wait.

Carpet flooring with Tiles in the kitchen and vinyl in the bathrooms. Everything looks relatively modern and new.

Wood Fireplace, Garbage Disposal, Dishwasher, Washer & Dryer in unit.

Water, garbage, Sewer paid, we split electricity 50/50. (summer months approximately $40 total, winter months can go up to $130 total)


Your Room:

You will have the master bedroom, which includes a private bathroom and two closets with mirror doors.
