Description: Information Security Engineer / Analyst @ eBay, Inc. (San Jose or Seattle)
Requirements:
The candidate will be a member of the Global Information Security team responsible for security policy and standard development and review for the eBay Marketplaces, corporate IT environments and approximately 20 adjacent businesses.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Managing information security policy and standard development to ensure security requirements are clearly documented.
- Facilitating working sessions to develop content in support of security policies and standards.
- Utilize industry resources and Global Information Security subject matter experts to develop industry leading security policies and standards.
- Implement a tracking process and schedule to ensure policies and standards are maintained.
- Support risk management activities, particularly in the area of security standard exception processing.
- All other duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate for this role will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or related discipline or equivalent.
- 2-4 Years experience in Information Security or related field
- Strong project management, interpersonal, relationship building, collaboration and influencing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to interface, influence, and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business colleagues in multiple locations at all levels.
- Experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Internal Audit or related field.
- Knowledge of basic information security principles.
- Aptitude to quickly learn new environments and technologies.
- Must be organized, goal-oriented, and a self-starter.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, highly complex environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Ability to travel (domestic and international) as required.
- Familiarity with compliance rules and regulations (SOX, PCI DSS, ISO, Data Privacy laws).
- Experience with security or compliance tools a plus (e.g. Archer).
- Willingness to work hard and have fun!
