Description: I am looking for someone to take over my lease in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. I am going to be graduating in December 2009 and I am looking for someone to take my room from January 2010 to July 2010. The leasing office needs an application before you can move in and if you like the place, you can continue the lease. The total rent is $1,020 with free multiple wireless internet signals(pretty fast) and trash disposal, utilities and cable are not included. Each person pays $510 for rent plus utilities. The apartment is located on W. Marshall St. near the VCU art building so it is close to the gym, bookstore, and the restaurants on Broad. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Monroe campus. There are GRTC bus lines all along Broad St, which is a street over, if you needed to go to the MCV campus or anywhere else. Starbucks and Kroger grocery is also about a 10-15 minute walk down Broad St.

The apartment is a quiet place that is pet friendly (smaller breeds) and has a gated parking lot and security doors. You get one free parking space, which is as yet unused. The building has a common area that has tables, chairs, couches, and a mini-kitchen which is free for all tenants to use. There is a fitness center in the basement which is also free for all tenants. The building is three floors with an elevator. The apartment you are considering is on the top floor. The entire apartment is carpeted with tile in the bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen includes stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and sink with plenty of cabinets. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment. The apartment has large windows in the living room so there isn't much need for turning on lights during the day. The room itself is pretty spacious with a walk-in closet and a lighted ceiling fan. The living room also has a ceiling fan and the apartment also has A/C.
