Description: GENERAL POSITION:
Position/Title Sales & Servicing Rep – Dealer Services

Description Mountain Khakis requires assistance in the sales to new dealer prospects and servicing of existing dealers throughout our premium and specialty retail channels.

The Dealer Services role is to provide support and communication to our MK customers. Included in this support and communication responsibility are: providing consultation with the customer on assortment, current inventory, merchandising, seeding, promotions, point of contact services as well as some direct sales function. The Dealer Services role works with the independent representative or other MK sales personnel to provide complete customer service to the dealer. Ensuring the Mountain Khakis brand is supported and accessible to dealers.

The Dealer Services function is a combined customer service and sales function. Brand expertise is required along with qualified sales skills. Live communication is a regular and integral part of this job. Primary responsibilities include: regular interaction with dealers; by phone, email, fax or in person. Consulting with the dealer to communicate best practices and act as a consultant to increase their sales of MKs. Developing new business and expanding existing dealers to increase business. Constant cooperation through communication with the Dealer Services team and independent reps to develop an understanding of MK and increase sales to reach stated MK company goals. Role responsibilities also include strategic planning on behalf of the customer and account development providing a valuable link between the dealer, MK and the independent rep to ensure the relationship is effective and conducive to growth.

Some of the specific tasks include:
1 – Direct calls to dealer prospects that may not have yet been introduced to or signed up as MK dealers.
2 – Organization and preparation of an effective plan for routine calls to existing dealers to touch-base and solicit re-orders and fill-ins.
3 – Communicating with the dealer services group as well as other members of the sales and marketing team to identify opportunities for MK to engage proactively with our dealers to deepen and strengthen existing and/or developing relationships.
4 – Participation in the Built Tour effort and other Dealer–Facing initiatives with associated sales and merchandising implementation.
5 – Attendance and participation at trade shows and other MK dealer promotion and sales events.
6 – Assistance in planning and preparation in advance of annual sales meeting
7 – Use of corporate ERP system for data mining, research and analysis of dealer activity to create actionable activities to promote further sales into accounts or exposure to prospects.
8 – In-store dealer visits to strengthen rapport, floor planning, merchandising and other on site knowledge for effective consultation.
9 – Assist in response to INFO@ Mountain Khakis inquiries.
10 – Phone coverage on our Dealer Services Hunt Group and back up for calls from the Customer Service line.

Reports To Martin Wilkinson (primary) & TBD (secondary)
Start Date ASAP (need to determine specific start date)
Time / Schedule 8:30 a.m. eastern – 5:30 p.m. eastern; time is flexible, but general business hours of operation when we need to be here manning the phones & office are 8:30am-5:30pm.

COMPENSATION:
Salary year one $32,500
Paid Twice monthly
Review Annual or sooner at management’s discretion.

Paid Time-Off – vacation, sick, flex, other. 4 weeks (20 days) (this is a combination of sick, personal and vacation days)

Insurance Company pays 50% individual premium to a maximum of $250/month; there is currently no company plan. All plans are through the individual.
