Other NCI companies include the leading provider of metal bulding components for roof and wall systems, MBCI, Metal Prep, a light-gauge steel coating company and Metal Depots, a retail arm for components and small building systems. NCI is publicly traded on the NYSE under the symbol NCS An American Building Materials Inside Sales Coordinator (or, ISC) is a position that handles transactions between customers and ABC. An ISC is the liaison between operations, sales, and customers; and ultimately the customer’s ambassador. This position requires an individual who possesses a self-motivated spirit and a talent for providing quality service to a regular customer base. A key attribute of the ideal ISC is deriving pleasure by serving others. This includes, but is not limited to, taking and entering orders, filing, processing product returns and credits, communicating customer requests to manufacturing and sales, problem resolution, performing material estimates involving various product lines, gathering market data to report back to sales and management, and continual product knowledge and skills development. In some cases this position will be asked to coordinate customer literature as well as help other departments as required. A critical component of this position is to assist, support, and work in partnership with Regional Managers and Territory Managers Time Management skills Computer skills (Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook) Effective communication skills Listening and questioning Setting clear expectations. The ability to handle difficult conversations as needed Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form Conflict resolution skills strong organizational skills with an emphasis on follow through Math skills.
