Description: This senior manager position will be responsible for leading and advising on global transfer pricing (TP) projects, completing and managing completion of TP documentation requirements, executing TP compliance assessments and initiatives, leading and advising on APAs, audit defense activities, competent authority proceedings, and other advanced TP technical projects.
This position requires a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Economics
Additional qualifications include:
- Advanced technical knowledge and extensive experience in the area of transfer pricing practices and transfer pricing law on a global basis
- 12 - 15 yrs of direct experience in transfer pricing from a Big Four firm or law firm
- Work experience (in a lead role) in audit defense, Advance Pricing Agreements and competent authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence business unit leaders, other Finance management
- Ability to work with and thrive amongst Global Tax and Trade management team
- Project management, leadership, partnering skills
- Knowledge of Intel's business operations and industry would be an added advantage
Specific Duties:
- Application of transfer pricing laws to Intel¿s related party transactions, with initial key focus placed on assessment of Intel¿s intercompany services and ensuring compliance to the new IRS Services Regulations.
- Assessment of Intel¿s treatment of IP to advise and develop an optimal and compliant planning solution.
- Applying your technical expertise, on Intel¿s Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs), on engagements with competent authorities, and on audit defense work.
- Applying your technical expertise by furthering the development of the technical capability of the TPG team
- Applying your technical expertise, by being a sr. reviewer of written documentation, analytical and position papers prepared by other team members.
- Working with GTT¿s M&A support group to analyze proposed transactions and ensure alignment with TPG¿s existing transfer pricing policies and positions
CITIZEN REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction*, and a background investigation and drug screening are required.
