Description: Alpha Media is a fast growing Texas advertising firm that just entered the Dallas market. Simply put, we provide area businesses a true WIN-WIN situation to gain exceptional exposure at an excellent value while being able to give back to the local community.

We are looking for an outside sales representative to sell ad space in Dallas County.

JOB SUMMARY:
An Outside Sales Representative is 100% responsible for meeting and exceeding their sales goals. He/She is responsible for generating leads through cold calling via phone or in person, or through local connections and relationships. He/She is responsible for creating relationships with Dallas merchants (restaurants, banks, insurance firms, doctors, dentists, etc.) and then turning these relationships into clients. He/She must be comfortable selling in person, over the phone, and through email. Communication is key with Alpha Media. We will provide you with the tools necessary to achieve success. You will receive a leads list, all necessary information to present to potential clients (brochures, flyers, etc.) and business cards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
-Identify and contact potential clients by cold-calling; via phone or in person.
-Explain the benefits of this type of advertising and how it works
-Ability to convert a prospect into a client
-Have aggressive and successful closing skills
-Consistently remain in contact with home office
-Must have lived in Dallas for at least three years with local knowledge of people and area businesses

WORK EXPERIENCE:
-Prior sales experience preferred but not required

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
-Persuasive communications, presentation and sales skills
-Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
-Think well on your feet
-Motivated, action-oriented and proactive to move expeditiously to achieve sales goals

COMPENSATION:
Alpha Media offers attractive compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance. Compensation is commission only. This allows you to work as much or as little as you’d like. But keep in mind, sales is a game of numbers. The more contacts you make = the more sales generated = the more money you earn! Representatives can earn $4,000 - $8,000 per month.
